Miniature model railway

The West Wilts Society of Model Engineers are a friendly bunch who enjoy making models of buildings, boats and steam & diesel powered miniature railways in many scales.

We meet at our track site, White Horse Country Park at 1800 hrs on the first and third Tuesday of the summer months and most Friday mornings. We will be very pleased to welcome visitors of all ages who will probably be offered a ride around our 600 foot long track.

We have our own railway station and toilet block on site. During the winter months we meet for interesting engineering related technical lectures. We build much of our own engines track and equipment and have a varied membership of around 60 members.

During the summer months we can frequently be seen at village charity events and the occasional wedding with our portable railway track giving rides to adults and children.
